Those Nights at Fredbears is a survival horror fan game inspired by the Five Nights at Freddy’s universe. The game takes place inside Fredbear’s Family Diner, an older restaurant connected to the early history of the animatronic franchise. Unlike traditional FNAF gameplay focused mostly on security cameras, this project introduces free-roam exploration, allowing players to move through hallways, party rooms, and maintenance areas while avoiding hostile animatronics.

Story and Main Premise
The story follows a character investigating Fredbear’s Family Diner after a disappearance connected to the location. During the investigation, players uncover hidden details about the restaurant, missing children, and the dangerous animatronics roaming the building at night. The game gradually reveals more information about the diner’s past through environmental clues, recordings, and hidden events scattered throughout the map.
Fredbear and Spring Bonnie act as the main threats during gameplay. The animatronics move through different areas of the building and react dynamically to player actions and noise. As nights progress, their behavior becomes more aggressive and unpredictable, forcing players to adapt and explore more carefully.
Gameplay and Survival Mechanics
Those Nights at Fredbears combines free exploration with classic survival horror systems. Main gameplay features include:
Players search rooms, monitor cameras, and use doors or hiding spots to survive until morning. Some versions of the game also include ventilation systems and sound-based mechanics that force players to multitask during later nights.
Nights and Progression
The game is divided into multiple nights, with each night increasing the difficulty and introducing new threats or gameplay mechanics. Early nights teach the player how to navigate the diner and monitor animatronic movement, while later sections involve faster enemy behavior, limited resources, and additional hazards inside the building.
