Survivor Board Game

Survivor: The Tribe Has Spoken adapts the television competition into a social strategy card game for three to six players. Each participant represents a contestant trying to form alliances, collect advantages, locate Hidden Immunity Idols, and avoid elimination. There is no predetermined storyline because the players create the events through negotiation and voting. The session follows the structure of a Survivor season and normally takes between thirty and sixty minutes.

Life Before Tribal Council

The box includes 67 Action Cards, 12 Survivor Character Cards, a Voting Box, and a Survival Guide. Every player chooses a color and receives two matching Character Cards, which represent their remaining chances in the competition. The Action Deck is prepared with Tribal Council Cards placed at intervals. On a normal turn, the active player must steal one random card from another participant, may play one Action Card, and then draws a card to finish the turn.

Advantages, Challenges, and Alliances

Action Cards create most of the strategic interactions. They can start challenges, protect a contestant, reveal information, cancel another effect, or provide an advantage for later use. Players can discuss deals and coordinate against a shared target, but alliances are not enforced by the rules. A participant may change sides, withhold information, or vote differently from what was promised.

The main systems include:

• Reward Challenges that distribute useful cards or stealing opportunities.
• Hidden Immunity Idols that can prevent a vote from eliminating their owner.
• Vote Cards used to select a target during Tribal Council.
• Advantages that modify voting or protect specific contestants.
• Secret negotiations conducted before votes are cast.
• Single- and double-elimination Tribal Councils based on group size.
• A jury composed of players eliminated before the final decision.

From the First Vote to the Jury

Drawing a Tribal Council Card immediately pauses normal turns. Players may ask questions, defend themselves, make agreements, or speak privately before voting. Everyone then casts a secret vote through the Voting Box. The results are revealed, and the contestant with the required votes loses a Character Card. Losing both Character Cards removes that player from active competition, although eliminated participants later return as jury members.
